During Spring Break of 2007, Lakeview joined forces with a sister church in Shoals, Indiana to hold revival services, carry out door to door evangelism, and survey an area in Lagootee, Indiana for a potential church plant.  Lakeview took 22 members to help in these endeavors.  Shoals Baptist Church, a member of the White River Association, was under the leadership of Pastor Ernie Cannell.
